Intended Use: UVB-UVA cross linking, polymer curing, solar weathering test, UV emitter based on quartz halogen, plasma arc operation in laboratory, and commercial/industrial curing processes.

Aperture: 230 mm diameter. Shielded by high-temperature UVC-blocking filter and an outer UV-transmitting acrylic shield.

Operation: The lamp can be oriented at any angle for operation.

UV Intensity: At 25mm from the outer shield, reaching maximum intensity 1.5 minutes after start-up:

• 230 miliWatts/cm² in the 320nm to 410nm range, peak 340nm and 365nm;
• 44 MED in the 280nm to 320nm range;
• UVC is blocked below 280nm by the filter.

Reflector Type: Parabolic glass reflector available with dichroic coating to reduce IR emissions.

Caution:

• Do not spray any liquid based atomizers while the cooling fan is on. Any atomized spray may damage the extremely hot lamp while the cooling air circulates around the lamp envelope.
  
• Do not use in the vicinity of any explosive powder or sprayed flammable liquids due to its high ignition voltage and high lamp temperature of 950°C.
  
• Wear eye protection. UV radiation may damage eyes and may cause serious skin burns in a short time. Long-term exposure may result in DNA mutation.
